The sodium bicarbonate: NAHCO3 = baking soda
The product is known by different names: Baking soda, Sodium bicarbonate, Sodium hydrogenocarbonate, Dough soda, Baking soda in the United States, Vichy salt in Belgium.
Baking soda has been used since ancient times, in Egypt, we used a mineral called Natron, natural soda ash, which was harvested after evaporation in salt lakes.
(1863) It was thanks to the chemist Ernest Solvay who, according to the work of Nicolas Leblanc (French), developed a simpler and more ecological process for making baking soda.
